Lyrical Code Challenge: Don't Stop Believin'
It's time to submit your entries to help make this year's conference t-shirt!
We nominated songs, we polled and we have a winner: Don’t Stop Believin’ by Journey is your choice for the contest.
Now we need your help. It’s up to you to turn these song lyrics into code in any and every programming language you can think of. Assuming we get enough entries, we’re going to attempt to combine them into a shirt that properly reflects our polyglot conference.
Entry Requirements
All you need to enter is a snippet of the song as code. You don’t have to do the entire thing. You can even do a single line or a verse. Just make sure to include what program language you used as part of the entry.
Remember, we’re hoping to combine entries to create our final version so if you get inspired and think of a fun way to write “For a smile, they can share the night” in code that’s more than enough.
Here’s a simple example. For an amazing example, go checkout the Bohemian Rhapsody as code shirt.
train.departure = "00:00:00"
girl.setTransport(train)
You can submit your entries a few different ways exactly one way…

Don’t Stop Believin’ - Journey
[Verse 1]
Just a small-town girl, livin' in a lonely world
She took the midnight train goin' anywhere
Just a city boy, born and raised in South Detroit
He took the midnight train goin' anywhere[Verse 2]
A singer in a smoky room
The smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile, they can share the night
It goes on and on and on and on[Pre-Chorus]
Strangers waitin'
Up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searchin' in the night
Streetlights, people
Livin' just to find emotion
Hidin' somewhere in the night
