The remote reach of our modern developer experience has certainly made the world feel a little smaller, in a good way. Neurelo, a Silicon Valley startup, is a great example of this phenomenon.
At a recent Tech After Five event, I was able to meet James Shockley who will also be our closing speaker for the conference delivering a talk about Rust. We talked about technology, networking and of course the conference itself before we knew much more than a date. James was immediately on board. His founders, including Chirag who will be attending, were also eager to support the event.
Perhaps, James said it best when asked why?
“Bring my founders out of Silicon Valley to show them how do we code down south.”
- James Shockley, Resident of Greenville, SC and Founding Engineer at Neurelo
That quote belongs on a t-shirt I think. Future ideas maybe?
This conference would not be possible without our sponsors. Thank you for your support!
