DC864 will run another Capture the Flag (CTF) contest this year!
Last year the event was accessible to all skill levels, newcomer to expert
We are thrilled to announced that the DEF CON 864 group will be running a capture the flag event again this year during the 2024 Carolina Code Conference!
In 2023, as part of the conference commitment to blend cybersecurity with the code conference itself we reached out Luke, Eric and Ben for ideas before settling on the Capture the Flag. The event will run during the conference, allowing participants to learn and test their hacking skills to capture privileged information from people and servers.
You can bring your laptop to hack along throughout the day. If you have never participated in a CTF event, the great crew from DC864 will be happy to help show you the ropes to get started.
This year’s prize will be a complete Raspberry Pi 5 Kit.
Last year we were able to give away a Flipper Zero. Apparently Canada attempted to ban the device recently so be careful with your travel Daniel.
