The 2024 Lyrical Code Challenge will end July 15th!
Help turn Bohemian Rhapsody into code for this year's t-shirt!
This year’s Lyrical Code Challenge to crowdsource our conference t-shirt is almost over and we need to get A LOT more language contributions to put together this year’s shirt.
This year should be a lot easier too since we have a little bit of a guide due to the original inspiration for our conference shirt coming from the Bohemian Rhapsody as code (pictured left) t-shirt. To put our own spin on it, we need to make it polyglot so get your language entries in before it’s too late.
Favorite language, weird language, language just because you can or any type of inspiration that hits you. We’ve already seen a great bash entry.
# [Verse 1]
# Mama, just killed a man
pkill -SIGKILL --parent $(pidof Mama) man # bash
We’ve even seen a Lilypond entry, which is a program language that generates sheet music!
Last year we saw Python, Elixir, Erlang, Ruby, Ansible, C#, Java, Clojure, Go, JavaScript, Rust, SQL, Perl and PHP make it into the final version.
We need your help to get more entries for this year!
